Keep the process, equipment and component connected
PCB assembly translation into Chinese needs more than a translated list of process names. Each step must remain connected to its equipment reference, component identifier and supporting illustration. A clear translation can still be difficult to review if the links between those elements are lost.
Start with the approved assembly instruction and its revision. Supply editable artwork when available, a reference PDF and the list of product identifiers that must stay unchanged. A component datasheet describes a component; an assembly instruction describes its place in a production sequence. Keep those scopes distinct.
Map the file before translating labels
Process references. Give each source step or diagram box a stable reference. Preserve the order and arrow connections when preparing Chinese labels; do not reorganize a production sequence for a more fluent reading order.
Identifiers and context. Keep component numbers, program names and reference codes available beside the translated description. The technical owner should resolve ambiguous abbreviations or inconsistent source labels before the Chinese version is released.
Artwork and return files. Specify whether the return is a Chinese Word file, a bilingual review register or an editable diagram. Text embedded in scanned artwork requires a separate extraction and layout scope. Do not assume the original CAD or diagram application is included.

Assign unclear source wording to the technical owner before release.

Japanese → Chinese
Japanese-to-Chinese documentation for a listed Japanese semiconductor manufacturer.
This separate Japanese-to-Chinese component-documentation case is not the anonymous English PCB assembly project described below.
Include representative source files, their revision, Chinese variant, linked drawings or forms, review responsibilities and required return format.
An archived English-to-Chinese assembly record
A 2016 project archive retains an English PCB assembly instruction PDF and its reviewed Chinese Word translation. The original is a process flow chart linking equipment, process stages and components; the Chinese file retains that three-part structure. The accompanying project instructions specify English-to-Chinese translation and a Chinese Word return matching the source format.
This is evidence for that document type and language direction. The client is not identified here, and the original files are not offered for download. The archive does not establish production-line operation, engineering validation, a customer acceptance result or permission to reproduce the client diagram.
The self-created register above illustrates a review method. It is not the archived flow chart and contains no client settings, component numbers or operating instructions.
Agree a Chinese review and return set
List the source revision, translated diagram labels, preserved identifiers and open technical questions together. Ask the product owner to compare each Chinese step with the matching source box and reference, then record who can approve terminology and layout changes.
For a separate component-text comparison, see the published semiconductor documentation case. It is related experience, not the client or evidence source for the anonymous assembly archive. Continue to the Chinese work-instruction guide when responsibilities, checks and production records are the main concern.
Use the English-to-Chinese route for the language brief and the semiconductor and electronics service for the wider document set. Include one representative page, the complete file list, required return formats and your target date in a scoped inquiry.
